MagCanica’s Senior Software & Embedded Systems Engineer, Brian Katan, made his return to Morocco for the second consecutive Rallye du Maroc on October 5th, 2024. This six-day W2RC event challenged both man and machine, with grueling conditions ranging from scorching desert heat exceeding 35°C by day to intense winds and flash flooding deep into the night. In preparation for the highly anticipated Dakar race in January 2025, six cars were fitted with MagCanica torque sensors on their secondary shafts for rigorous testing. Despite the unforgiving environment, the sensors proved their resilience and reliability, performing very well throughout this season-ending expedition.
