12 Apr IMSA Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach
MagCanica’s President, Sami Bitar, and Director of Operations Jenny Weyland, made a return to MagCanica’s “home” track for IMSA’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 12th, gathering valuable feedback on sensor usage and performance from IMSA, customer teams, and other manufacturers & suppliers. Additionally, four of MagCanica’s engineers (Senior Software & Embedded Systems Engineer Brian Katan, Senior Software Engineer Clay Walker, Mechanical Design & Application Engineer Gary Fernicola, and Software Engineer Patrick Paxson) joined Sami and Jenny at the track to provide dedicated technical support, not only providing IMSA and the GTP/GTD competitors with broad assistance, but also rolling out a major firmware upgrade to over 200 systems over the course of the weekend that was launched successfully at this event.
