29 Sep ELMS 4 Hours of Mugello

The fifth race of the 2024 ELMS series was held for the first time ever at the Mugello circuit (Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello) which is located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. This was another successful event for MagCanica with no torque sensor issues observed over the six-day span of direct track support. The race was exciting from beginning to end with multiple yellow flags and a single red flag condition that was invoked for the purpose of track cleanup and repair after a severe crash. The photo above is a selfie by Dejan Samardzic (MagCanica’s Principal Engineer) with the cars lined up on the starting line behind him during the red flag condition. The teams were allowed to change tires during this period, so the team mechanics can be seen on the track walking with tires and changing them on their respective cars.
