ELMS 4 Hours of Imola

MagCanica’s Principal Engineer, Dejan Samardzic, was at Imola’s Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari again this year.  This time he was supporting the 3rd race of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) championship, which runs MagCanica’s torque sensors on all 11 GT3 cars in contention at all events.  After four hours of racing in scorching hot weather, Porsche’s Iron Dames Car #85 clinched the checkered flag only 0.7 seconds ahead of Aston Martin’s Spirit of LeMans’s Car #59 for the win in the GT3 category.  It was an action-packed weekend and a thrilling race from start to finish.  Fortunately, MagCanica’s driveshaft torque sensor systems, used to apply the regulations by the ACO governing body, once again raced without any issues.
