Formula E Race support at Mexico City

MagCanica was very excited to support the first race of the 2023 Formula E season in Mexico City on January 14th. Senior Engineer, Alvin Chak, and Electronics Engineer, Paul Guativa, assisted the FIA and all Formula E teams during the race weekend from January 12-14, 2023. MagCanica’s torque sensors were used by all teams on the grid, spanning a total of 22 cars. Throughout the event, Alvin and Paul evaluated vehicle installations and provided support for the use of MagCanica’s high accuracy torque sensors. For interest, the smoke in the picture was caused by the driver doing burnouts to warm up the tires.
