2025 IMSA Detroit Grand Prix

MagCanica’s software engineers Clay Walker and Patrick Paxson were on site at the 2025 Detroit Grand Prix to support IMSA officials by providing real-time trackside technical assistance and troubleshooting. This event marked the first time MagCanica’s torque sensor systems were deployed in competition on GTD Pro cars navigating the demanding and uneven street circuit of downtown Detroit. MagCanica is pleased to report that, despite the challenging conditions, the sensors operated without issue and no failures were reported throughout the race weekend. These cutting-edge sensors continue to deliver accurate and consistent torque data used by officials to help maintain exciting competition.
